Who will liberate Iraq from the United States

UN Resolution 1790 gives a firm date for a review in a statement that, ‘Decides further that the mandate for the multinational force shall be reviewed at the request of the
Government of Iraq or no later than 15 June 2008, and declares that it will terminate this mandate earlier if requested by the Government of Iraq.’

This resolution was pushed through the UN Security Council by Bush despite a clear majority by the Iraqi parliament in April 2007, demanding a timetable for withdrawal of all foreign forces from Iraq.

The resolution on December 18th 2007 thus violated the Iraq constitution which together with the policy of building up armed Sunni militias is already leading to Sunni divisions with Shi'ite groups, and with the Shi'ite dominated government.
